Known for fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment, HHM Hotels emphasizes both employee development and guest satisfaction, creating a dynamic workplace that values teamwork and dedication.
The role of Room Attendant at HHM Hotels is a vital position that directly influences the overall guest experience. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to meet established standards, ensuring that every stay is comfortable and memorable. Working as a Room Attendant offers a clear career path within the organization, starting from Housekeeping Supervisor to Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and ultimately to Executive Housekeeper. This progression highlights the company’s commitment to career growth and professional development.
As a Room Attendant, you will greet guests warmly, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the moment of interaction. The job entails cleaning guest rooms efficiently by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors, changing bed linens, replacing towels and amenities, and polishing furniture and fixtures. Additionally, you will dust furniture, walls, and equipment to maintain a pristine room environment. Attention to detail is crucial, as well as the ability to recognize and report any required repairs in guest rooms to management. Handling lost and found items according to policy is also part of the duties.
Safety is a top priority at HHM Hotels, so adherence to safe work habits, protective safety equipment, and compliance with MSDS and OSHA standards are mandatory. Flexibility is also important as you may be asked to perform house person and lobby attendant duties during peak periods or when short-staffed.
Achieving high guest satisfaction scores is one of the main objectives of this role. You will be aware of guest feedback and work actively toward improving satisfaction both within your department and throughout the hotel. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision health insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, daily pay, life insurance, travel discounts, commuter benefits, wellness programs, educational development, and referral bonuses.
The work environment involves a varying schedule that may include holidays and weekends. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds, and safely handling cleaning chemicals. HHM Hotels embodies core values such as valuing people’s capabilities, hearts that serve, uncompromising excellence, agility, and ownership of responsibilities.
Joining HHM Hotels as a Room Attendant means becoming part of a team where your contributions directly enhance the guest experience and your career path is supported with ongoing opportunities for growth and development. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality, dedicated to maintaining high standards, and eager to grow within a reputable hotel company.
