Job Requirements

High school education is not required
up to one month related experience or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
ability to handle indoor work environment
exposure to and use of cleaning chemicals
ability to work in moderate noise levels
physical ability to stand and walk more than two-thirds of time
ability to sit less than one-third of time
ability to use hands extensively and reach with arms frequently
ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs
ability to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally
ability to talk and hear frequently
commitment to safety and security procedures
willingness to follow prescribed work schedules and attendance policies

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Replace linens on beds and replenish guest room supplies
empty and clean wastebaskets, dishwasher, refrigerator, and ashtrays as appropriate for room type
clean bathrooms and replenish bathroom amenities
provide necessary linen and room amenities to guests in accordance with brand standards
leave the guest room in uniform arrangement as determined by management and ensure the door is closed and locked
report any damage, hazards, and needed repairs to management immediately
return items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to Housekeeping department as lost and found with proper documentation
responsible for keys signed out for the shift
complete any projects or requests developed by management team
replace light bulbs if necessary
restock cart at end of shift and organize linen closet to prepare for next day
perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
perform all duties in accordance with brand standards emphasizing meeting or exceeding guest expectations
maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and compliance with prescribed work, break and meal periods
maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including dress code compliance
perform any other duties as requested by supervisor
