Job Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English preferred
- some previous housekeeping experience preferred
- background from the extended stay industry preferred
- basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities preferred
- frequently standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility
- carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds
- regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals
- willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards
- respond to guest complaints and special requests and ensure corrective action is taken
- clean and service assigned rooms or areas including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash
- notify supervisor when service is completed and report rooms unable to be serviced
- monitor laundry supplies and operate washers and dryers following standards and guidelines
- inspect soiled linens, fold and store clean linens, report damages
- minimize waste of supplies and amenities
- assist with deep cleaning projects
- report needed repairs or unsafe conditions
- handle lost and found items according to procedures
- promote teamwork and communication with shifts and management
- ensure compliance with health and safety laws
- perform other duties as assigned
