Job Description
The Hoxton, Downtown LA is an iconic hotel situated in the heart of Los Angeles' vibrant Downtown district, specifically on the bustling Broadway street. This historic property was once the LA Railway Authority and later a candy shop, giving it a rich and charming LA heritage that adds character and uniqueness to the guest experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing moderate weights
- Strong communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to hotel policies
- Willingness to learn and attend training sessions

Job Duties
- Provide the highest level of customer care and deliver friendly, helpful and responsive service for guests
- Clean and service guest rooms to ensure sparkling presentation
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel
- Adhere to all brand standards and quality audit standards for rooms
- Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
- Attend all required training sessions
- Report necessary maintenance issues promptly
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report any breaches
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while solving challenges
- Undertake any other reasonable requests from management
