Job Requirements
- Pass security clearance
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, and kneeling
- Ability to see and hear
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Knowledge of proper linen handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures
- Ability to maintain guest privacy and professionalism
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of meeting job demands
Job Duties
- Provides excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms
- Organizes and uses cleaning supplies effectively
- Cleans vacant and occupied rooms to brand standards
- Maintains housekeeping cart and professional appearance
- Reports discrepancies and assists with guest issues
- Assists in maintaining public areas in a clean and orderly condition
