Job Requirements

Must pass security clearance according to company policy
Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
Must be able to stand for eight hours bend stretch reach crawl kneel
Must have the ability to see hear speak and read or understand English
Display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
Maintain flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multitasking
Must maintain a friendly professional demeanor and appearance

Job Qualifications

Experience in similar positions helpful but not mandatory
Ability to perform major life activities such as standing lifting bending learning and communicating
Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens terry and supplies
Understanding of sanitation and guestroom cleaning procedures
Ability to maintain guest privacy and follow cleaning procedures systematically
Communication skills and professionalism
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to comply with safety and security standards

Job Duties

Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest ready status
Return occupied dirty rooms to occupied clean status within specified time
Maintain a crisp clean and professional appearance daily
Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
Follow cleaning procedures outlined in training and company standards
Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately
Report discrepancies to Housekeeping Manager
Assist with cleaning other hotel areas such as lounges restrooms and public spaces
Follow general clean procedures every 90 days
Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and safety measures
Perform other duties as assigned
