Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar roles preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Willingness to work varied shift hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure enough cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities are available to properly clean each room
  • Observes knocking procedures upon entering guest rooms
  • Cleans assigned guest rooms and ensures amenities are stocked
  • Completes entire housekeeping checklist
  • Accurately marks clean rooms to supervisor for inspection
  • Reports damages or hazards in guest rooms such as burned out light bulbs or broken furniture
  • Secures guest room doors upon exiting
  • Keeps corridors and service areas neat
  • Turns in all lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Follows safety and security procedures and rules
  • Knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Utilizes protective equipment
  • Reports unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, near-misses, or property damage to management
  • Provides a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures
  • Maintains a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Performs related duties as requested
  • Assists other housekeeping personnel as needed
