Job Requirements
- Ability to pass security clearance per company policy
- Must be able to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
- Must have the ability to see and hear
- Must be able to speak, read, or understand English
- Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
- Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as needed
- Must display professionalism and maintain grooming and uniform standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Knowledge of proper handling and sanitation of linens, terry, and supplies
- Familiarity with guestroom cleaning procedures
- Understanding of safety and security protocols
- Ability to maintain designated cleaning times per room
- Professional and hospitable attitude toward guests
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms
- Manage usage and organization of supplies
- Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready
- Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
- Follow all cleaning procedures as per training
- Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
- Assist in maintaining other hotel areas clean and orderly
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards
- Maintain guest privacy
- Follow safety and security measures
- Perform general cleaning every 90 days
- Comply with emergency procedures and safety protocols
