Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, pull or push objects
  • Ability to stand during entire shift
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, courteous and service-oriented attitude

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
  • Replenish chemical bottles
  • Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Handle lost and found items according to standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
