The role of Room Attendant at the Courtyard Las Vegas, located at 5845 Dean Martin Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89118, offers a vital position within this esteemed organization. This hourly role emphasizes the importance of maintaining hotel guestrooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Room Attendant will deliver attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include a thorough cleaning of guestrooms adhering to established standards, managing pre-cleaning preparations such as organizing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens, and ensuring the removal of trash and soiled linens from guest areas and hallways. Maintaining cleanliness, neatness, and proper vacuuming of hallways, public spaces, and closets is also a key part of the role. The position requires restocking the housekeeping cart and replenishing cleaning chemicals to prepare for future use, as well as promptly reporting any missing items or maintenance issues to supervisors. Handling lost and found items in accordance with company policies and ensuring overall guest satisfaction are also essential duties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods

  • prior experience in hospitality preferred
  • ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly
  • ability to stand during entire shift
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
  • restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
  • replenish chemical bottles
  • report all missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • report any maintenance repairs immediately
  • handle items for lost and found according to standards
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
