The role of Room Attendant at L'Ermitage Beverly Hills is integral to maintaining this reputation for excellence. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Management and Supervisory team, the Room Attendant is primarily responsible for the cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of assigned guest rooms and public areas throughout the hotel. This position demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness in accordance with the hotel's service procedures and luxury brand requirements. The Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering expectations of comfort and order in each room, responding promptly to guest needs, and contributing positively to the overall guest experience. Duties include thorough cleaning and servicing of rooms, replacing linens, replenishing amenities, inspecting furniture and fixtures for damage, and maintaining the organization of all assigned areas. Additionally, candidates will need to demonstrate knowledge of hotel operations and local attractions to provide insightful information to guests when required.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for prolonged periods. Flexibility in work schedule is essential, with shifts that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill necessary tasks
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs on a regular and continuing basis
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent education preferred
  • 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel preferred
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others to work cooperatively to achieve a designated goal
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
  • Flexible schedule willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance as per specific standards

Job Duties

  • Maintain and execute 5-star Forbes and 5 Diamonds AAA standards
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards, and correct maintenance and use of equipment
  • Create positive guest relations by anticipating guests’ needs, responding promptly and always acknowledging guests
  • Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions, and activities, to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
  • Clean and service assigned rooms in accordance with service procedures and standards
  • Remove all dirty terry and replace with clean par to designated layout
