Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects
Ability to stand during entire shift
Effective verbal and written communication skills in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner

Job Duties

Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
Replenish chemical bottles
Report all missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
Handle items for lost and found according to standards
Ensure overall guest satisfaction
