The Room Attendant is responsible for a wide range of duties, including changing bed linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, restocking room amenities, emptying wastebaskets, and reporting any discrepancies or maintenance needs. You will need to manage your time efficiently to complete assigned rooms within designated time limits while adhering to all safety procedures and company policies. Job Duties

  • perform a combination of tasks that maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner
  • keep work area clean and neat, free from dust and litter
  • load carts with supplies needed to perform duties
  • clean all guest rooms as assigned within the required time limit including changing bed linens and making beds, vacuuming carpet and moving furniture as needed, dusting and cleaning all furniture, cleaning mirrors, surfaces, windows, walls
  • thoroughly clean bathroom area including shower/tub, sink, floor, toilet
  • replace room amenities such as bathroom supplies, drinking glasses, writing supplies
  • empty wastebaskets
  • ensure guest room set up complies with standards
  • report discrepancies in room status to inspector
  • turn in all lost and found items following standard procedures
  • fill out assignment sheet for each completed room
  • ensure all equipment is operational and supplies are adequate, report any needs for repair or reordering
  • work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
