Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting up to 60 pounds unassisted, bending, reaching, and communicating
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry out physically demanding tasks
- Must pass appropriate security clearances
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Must have honesty and trustworthiness to access guest rooms and property
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to use computerized systems like Quore and Hotel Effectiveness
- Strong communication skills with guests and co-workers
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures systematically
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly maintaining sanitation and adhering to company procedures
- Manage supplies organization and usage efficiently
- Maintain a crisp, clean and professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- Report any discrepancies or hazardous conditions to the immediate supervisor
- Assist in maintaining common and back-of-house areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries
