Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting up to 60 pounds unassisted, bending, reaching, and communicating
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry out physically demanding tasks
  • Must pass appropriate security clearances
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards
  • Ability to follow safety and security protocols
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Must have honesty and trustworthiness to access guest rooms and property

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
  • Ability to use computerized systems like Quore and Hotel Effectiveness
  • Strong communication skills with guests and co-workers
  • Ability to follow cleaning procedures systematically
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner
  • Clean guest rooms thoroughly maintaining sanitation and adhering to company procedures
  • Manage supplies organization and usage efficiently
  • Maintain a crisp, clean and professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Report any discrepancies or hazardous conditions to the immediate supervisor
  • Assist in maintaining common and back-of-house areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries
