We are currently seeking a part-time Room Attendant to join our dedicated team. This role is integral to ensuring that guest rooms and public areas uphold the company's cleanliness and hospitality standards. The Room Attendant will be responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways, and other assigned areas with a keen attention to detail. The position requires a friendly and courteous demeanor to provide personalized service to hotel guests while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.

The job involves making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, wiping walls, and managing room amenities according to company policy. The successful candidate will follow guidelines set by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager to ensure rooms are cleaned within specified time frames. Security protocols must be strictly followed, including the handling and return of master room keys. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with guests, team members, and management.

Additionally, the Room Attendant will assist with laundry duties and promptly report maintenance issues or lost and found items to the appropriate authorities within the hotel. This collaborative role may also involve helping other departments and participating in team efforts to enhance the overall guest experience. The hotel offers a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $18.63 per hour for this part-time position, along with attractive benefits such as 401k, vacation and sick leave, and a team member travel program. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work part-time hours
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
  • Clean guest rooms to Company standards including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls
  • Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
  • Follow Company policy for room amenities
  • Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
  • Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
  • Never leave the property with key
  • Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
  • Assist with laundry as needed
  • Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
