The Residence Inn Yorba Linda-Anaheim Hills is currently seeking a dynamic, full-time Room Attendant to become a vital member of their hospitality team. The Room Attendant will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and other assigned areas in accordance with company standards. Key tasks include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, wiping down walls, and adhering strictly to the time guidelines for room cleaning as set by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
In addition to cleaning duties, the role requires strict compliance with company policies regarding room amenities and security protocols, including the management and return of master room keys. The attendant is responsible for reporting any maintenance issues, missing or found articles, and contributing to the laundry department when needed. This position also encourages teamwork, requiring the attendant to assist colleagues and other hotel departments as necessary to uphold excellent operational performance.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping experience is preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- availability to work full-time hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate clearly in English
- willingness to follow all health and safety regulations
- ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely

Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
- communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- clean guest rooms to company standards including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls
- clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
- follow company policy for room amenities
- turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
- maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
- never leave the property with key
- report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
- assist with laundry as needed
- report any missing or found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
- provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
- perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
