Deer Path Inn is a distinguished hospitality establishment located at 255 East Illinois Rd, Lake Forest, IL, known for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences through superior service and immaculate accommodations. As a boutique hotel, Deer Path Inn emphasizes a blend of comfort, elegance, and attention to detail that ensures guests enjoy a memorable stay in a welcoming and well-maintained environment. The hotel prides itself on maintaining high standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction, making it a sought-after destination for travelers seeking quality and personalized hospitality. With a focus on traditional charm and modern amenities, Deer Path Inn has built a reputation for excellence in the Lake Forest community and beyond, providing a serene and luxurious atmosphere for both business and leisure travelers.

The role of Hotel Housekeeper at Deer Path Inn is a pivotal position within the hotel’s operations, focusing on maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas to uphold the property’s high standards. This position is compensated between 16 and 19 dollars per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience, underscoring the hotel's recognition of the value experienced staff bring to the team. The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning, dusting, polishing, and servicing all guest rooms daily, following strict hotel procedures to ensure every room meets quality expectations. The role involves stocking carts with necessary supplies and ensuring guest rooms are replenished and uniformly arranged according to the Executive Housekeeper’s guidelines, contributing to a seamless guest experience.

In addition to daily room cleaning, the housekeeper is tasked with maintaining hallways, service areas, and other public spaces, addressing requests from the housekeeping management team, and reporting any damages, hazards, or security concerns to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Interaction with guests is a critical component of the role, requiring housekeepers to greet guests courteously and communicate in English for effective guest relations. The position also demands attentiveness to detail, including rearranging furnishings, managing lost and found items responsibly, and performing light maintenance duties like replacing light bulbs when necessary.

The physical demands of the job require candidates to be capable of lifting heavy objects regularly and performing various physical activities such as standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling throughout their shifts. The work environment involves exposure to cleaning agents and the use of various hand tools, emphasizing the importance of safety and care during daily tasks. Deer Path Inn supports a diverse workforce and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. This opportunity suits individuals committed to upholding high cleanliness standards, who take pride in their work, and who enjoy contributing directly to guest satisfaction and hotel operations. The Hotel Housekeeper role at Deer Path Inn offers a rewarding experience for those eager to join a reputable hotel dedicated to excellence and guest-centric service.
