Job Requirements

  • Passion for the people, place and culture of the community
  • Minimum of two years experience as a bartender in a free-standing or hotel restaurant or bar
  • TiPS Alcohol service certification and SafeStaff certificate of completion, or ability to obtain such within 30 days of hire
  • Must meet local age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Available to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for majority of shift, including negotiating wet tile floors and steps
  • Fine motor coordination to pour, decorate, and fold
  • Ability to roll and/or carry tables and chairs when needed
  • Ability to carry over shoulder occasionally
  • Utilize hand and elbow movements for polishing, setting up, shaking, pouring, and mixing drinks
  • Excellent sight and balance for varied floor surfaces
  • Ability to handle lighted candles and hot fluids
  • Ability to lift, balance and carry up to 25 lbs and with assistance up to 100 lbs
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures including freezers and kitchens

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Uphold and model the companys principles of people, place and character
  • Participate in daily line ups and quarterly all staff meetings to develop ideas and objectives
  • Assist in all aspects of the F&B guest experience including greeting guests and ensuring bar supplies are stocked
  • Work in an organized and clean fashion with respect for guests, peers, equipment and workspace
  • Provide professional service using steps of service and ensure alcohol is served safely, responsibly, and legally
  • Maintain working knowledge of menus, ingredients and availability as well as accurately handle monetary transactions
  • Share beverage knowledge with guests and contribute to ongoing learning through tastings and classes
  • Communicate with F&B and culinary teams to ensure timely food delivery
  • Assist in various F&B areas including banquets, bar, café, in-room dining, pool, and restaurants
