Rocket Farm Restaurants is currently seeking a passionate Executive Sous Chef to oversee operations at their Charlotte locations. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive culinary experience, including two years as a Sous Chef. This full-time role demands excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations while driving both team cohesion and productivity. The Executive Sous Chef will directly manage all kitchen operations such as production, preparation, private events, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving, ensuring seamless execution under the highest culinary standards. With a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 annually (dependent on experience) plus a generous quarterly bonus, this position offers not only financial rewards but also comprehensive benefits after just 30 days of employment. The role also includes a significant focus on managing budgets and labor to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years progressive culinary experience
  • Two years experience as a Sous Chef
  • Ability to lead kitchen teams effectively
  • Strong budget and labor management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
