Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years progressive culinary experience
- Two years experience as a Sous Chef
- Ability to lead kitchen teams effectively
- Strong budget and labor management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years of progressive culinary experience
- At least two years in a Sous Chef role
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Experience managing culinary budgets and labor costs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and preparation
- Manage private parties and special events catering
- Supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving functions
- Ensure culinary staff create menu items according to high quality standards
- Lead and maintain a cohesive culinary team
- Manage culinary budget with attention to labor, scheduling, and overtime
- Operate the kitchen effectively in absence of Executive Chef
