Job Description

TForce Freight is a leading less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier operating across North America. As a subsidiary of TFI International, one of the largest and most respected transport and logistics companies, TForce Freight provides reliable and efficient transportation and logistics services designed to meet the needs of businesses shipping palletized, small, or heavy LTL loads. With over 178 service centers strategically located, TForce Freight offers a broad range of services including regional, interregional, and long-haul transportation, complemented by cross-border shipping options and state-of-the-art tracking technology. The company is committed to operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction, making it a trusted partner in the supply chain industry.

We are currently seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Road Drivers. This full-time role is vital to ensuring the successful delivery of freight across diverse routes, encompassing both regional and non-regional areas. As a Road Driver with TForce Freight, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to outstanding customer service and efficient freight handling. This position offers competitive pay, rewarding those who prioritize safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Drivers will conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues to maintain optimal equipment performance. Additionally, maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo conditions is required to comply with federal and company regulations.

Customer service is a core component of the role at TForce Freight. Drivers will interact directly with customers by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally. Effective communication with the dispatch management team is also critical to coordinate schedules, report any delays, and resolve any potential issues during transit. Flexibility in working hours, including availability for weekends and holidays, is a necessary attribute to meet the demands of this dynamic transportation environment.

Safety remains at the forefront of all operations. As a Road Driver, adherence to local, state, and federal transportation regulations is mandatory. TForce Freight requires all drivers to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols to protect themselves, their cargo, and other road users. Drivers must also meet strict Department of Transportation (DOT) and company requirements, including maintaining a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued in their resident state, along with endorsements for Hazmat, tanker, and doubles if applicable.

In addition to competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that includes pension plans, 401K, and paid time off, TForce Freight fosters a positive and supportive work environment geared towards career growth. The company values employees who possess a customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills. TForce Freight is eager to welcome new team members who are dedicated professionals committed to upholding the high standards of the company and providing exceptional transportation and logistics services.
