The role of Supervisor - Evenings is a critical clinical leadership position focused on providing direct nursing care to residents as well as supervising nursing assistants and staff nurses to ensure compliance with state and federal care standards. This position requires the incumbent to manage admissions, discharges, and overall resident care during the evening shift within a long-term care environment. The supervisor will serve as the liaison between the nursing team and healthcare providers while upholding the highest standards of care through effective coordination, documentation, and intervention where necessary. This role requires the ability to lead, motivate, and manage evening and night shift staff, ensuring proper assignments, adequate staffing levels, and completion of required nursing documentation.

The Supervisor - Evenings is integral to maintaining the quality and consistency of nursing care by conducting shift huddles with certified nursing assistants, overseeing medication dispensing, and ensuring incident reports are accurately completed with follow-up care plans.
