Located in the vibrant Valley of the Sun, this acute care hospital stands at the forefront of healthcare innovation and quality patient care. Celebrated for its excellence in patient safety, nursing professionalism, and quality outcomes, the hospital is renowned for its culture of continuous improvement and dedication to research participation and community health outreach. This hospital prides itself on being an innovation-forward institution equipped with state-of-the-art operating room technologies, including advanced robotic platforms, hybrid OR capability, image-guided surgery, and clinical analytics to enhance data-driven practices. It holds distinguished designations as a Stroke Center and a Cardiac Center, and it is also recognized for maintaining a strong Orthopedics program, ensuring a comprehensive and robust surgical department.

The RN Manager Surgical Services, Operating Room role represents a dynamic leadership opportunity within a high-performing surgical team. The successful candidate will lead an interdisciplinary group dedicated to exceptional patient-first care across multiple modern operating rooms. Key surgical specialties under the RN Manager's purview include orthopedics (such as total joints and spine surgeries), cardiac, neurology, general surgery, bariatrics, robotics, ENT, urology, plastics, and women's services. The operating suite also offers dedicated pre-operative, post-anesthesia care units (PACU), and sterile processing departments to maximize surgical throughput and optimize the patient experience. Reporting directly to the Director of Perioperative Services, the RN Manager will work in close collaboration with anesthesia leaders, surgical service line directors, and sterile processing teams, all committed to enhancing safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

In this leadership position, the RN Manager will be responsible for staff management, including scheduling, mentoring charge RNs, fostering professional development, and stewarding supply chain and capital planning. The role demands proficiency in quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and nurturing a collaborative and inclusive team culture where every team member’s input is valued. This position offers a competitive salary of up to $160,000 alongside comprehensive health and retirement benefits, generous paid time off, and strong professional development opportunities including certifications and leadership growth.

Beyond the professional environment, the RN Manager Surgical Services, Operating Room will enjoy the appealing lifestyle offered by the region. The Sonoran Desert's year-round sunshine, picturesque hiking trails like those at Camelback Mountain and Lake Pleasant, and proximity to escapes such as Sedona and Flagstaff provide ample recreational opportunities. The area also boasts a vibrant cultural scene featuring Cactus League spring training, professional sports, concerts, festivals, celebrated museums, and performing arts. Food enthusiasts can revel in a thriving culinary landscape highlighting Southwestern flavors, modern Mexican cuisine, and inventive farm-to-table dining experiences. Additionally, the community is known for its welcoming neighborhoods, quality schools, and balanced cost of living, making it an ideal place for work-life integration and growth.

This role is tailored for RN leaders passionate about surgical services who aspire to lead within a technologically advanced, high-quality care setting that prioritizes both patient outcomes and employee satisfaction.
