Job Requirements
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or recognized compact licensure
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience

Job Duties
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes
- Perform administration of prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response
- Notify provider and intervene as needed for unintended medication responses
- Conduct complete patient evaluations before procedures including history and diagnostic reviews
- Ensure patients and families understand procedures and peri-operative processes
- Obtain and witness consent forms
- Engage in evidence-based best practices such as SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals, AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including active listening and escalation of care concerns
