The General Manager position at REVELXP is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations to meet and exceed business objectives while maximizing profitability. This role requires a hands-on leader who can mentor team members, set clear performance objectives, and ensure all company standards are consistently upheld. The General Manager will have full oversight of all revenue-related activities, including sales and event rentals, and will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies that align with company goals. This role involves active participation in both outbound and inbound sales efforts, community development initiatives, and relationship building with university partners and other key stakeholders.

Operational responsibilities include strategic planning, budget oversight, quality control, event management, asset management, vendor relationships, and compliance with company policies. The General Manager also plays a vital role in fostering a culture of accountability, detail orientation, and excellent hospitality among team members. Financial management duties such as accounts payable and receivable, pricing, discount approvals, and financial record oversight fall under this role as well. The General Manager is expected to be a visible representative of REVELXP in the community, managing relationships with customers, university administration, athletic departments, and other partners, while also supporting company-wide initiatives and encouraging adoption of new processes and policies. This position demands high energy, a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in business administration or similar major or equivalent experience preferred
  • knowledge of sports and excitement of in-person events is a plus
  • effective communication skills verbal and written
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • five or more years supervisory experience
  • demonstrated ability to coach team members
