We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead our store in Topeka, KS. This full-time managerial position centers on leading and managing a store team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences, and achieving targeted store results. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations with minimal involvement in non-managerial tasks such as cashiering or stocking. The primary focus is on strategic management, team leadership, and execution of company policies and customer brand promises.
The role involves managing store performance through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and company programs, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, and leading the team to meet sales plans, profit goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Store Managers will also lead safety and shrink programs to protect store assets while maintaining an operational understanding of all departments within the store. Part of the responsibility includes staffing by hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members to achieve their KPIs and advance within the organization. The Store Manager serves as a model for upholding company values, maintaining professionalism, and promoting a positive work environment.
Flexibility is essential as work hours will include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Job Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the store, including adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements
- ensure execution of company policies and standards
- hold team accountable for store conditions and results
- deliver sales plan/profit plan and other KPIs in conjunction with annual performance objectives
- manage the store team to achieve their role KPIs
- lead the execution of our customer brand promises
- implement and lead shrink and safety programs to deliver goals
- use company tools to set, prioritize and communicate goals and provide overall management to team members and customers
- staff the store with qualified team members: hire, train, observe and coach the team to achieve results
- lead the performance management process and disciplinary process if necessary
- identify talent and develop team members for advancement
- utilize leadership competencies for continued self-development
- interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
- remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations
- promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values
