Job Requirements

Ability to lift and carry items frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment roles
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
Accountability and initiative with a high level of ownership
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes making sure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner
Receive unload freight unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
Prepare and ship customers orders following quality packing and shipping standards
Utilize inventory management systems to scan process and research merchandise shipments
Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
Provide general support to the store such as setting up special events organizing backroom markdowns and relocating store fixtures
