Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills and cash handling experience
- Physical ability to stand and walk continuously
- Ability to lift and carry weights ranging from 1 to over 100 pounds periodically
- Capacity to perform various physical activities including stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, and reaching above shoulder height frequently
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different store departments and responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience required
- Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Must possess the desire and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Must demonstrate good common sense and basic mathematical aptitude
- Must be motivated, self-driven with the ability to multi-task prioritize and work independently or within a team
- Must be able to work a flexible hourly schedule including holidays and weekends
- Must possess basic computer skills cash handling experience and proficiency in utilizing general office equipment
- A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required
Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable Chef'Store experience by developing and maximizing relationships with the store's customers
- Utilize all tools and skills learned in the Chef'Store Way training and model the behavior in the store
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately including scanning merchandise and weighing products
- Perform cart-to-cart transfer of all products at checkout including a visual inspection for product tampering
- Ensure a continuing focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage while assisting customers in finding products and services
- Assist in receiving inventory shipments, stocking shelves, ensuring product rotation and quality audits
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and store entry area while following safety policies
- Gather carts from the parking lot and ensure they are clean and operable
- Perform store opening and closing duties as assigned
- Participate in inventory and cycle count processes
- Assist with price changes as directed
- Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management
