Job Requirements

Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience
Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
Ability to work flexible hourly schedule including holidays and weekends
Must be able to perform physical activities including standing and walking continuously
Ability to lift and carry between 1 to over 100 lbs frequently or occasionally
Basic computer skills and cash handling experience
Ability to work in various store environments including refrigerated and open areas
Must be able to prioritize and multitask effectively
Must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
Utilize training to model desired behavior in the store
Perform sales and cash functions efficiently and accurately in the POS
Perform cart-to-cart product transfer and visual inspections at checkout
Verify cart contents as receipt checker and perform store opening/closing duties
Assist customers on the sales floor to find products and increase sales
Receive inventory shipments and maintain neat, properly rotated merchandise
Label merchandise accurately including blaster tagging and catch weight labeling
Replenish sales floor daily and ensure FIFO stocking
Use reach trucks and pallet jacks for moving products
Assist with price changes and participate in inventory counts
Maintain store cleanliness and safety both inside and outside
Gather and manage carts ensuring they are clean and operable
Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management
