Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment roles
Clear and effective communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic technology proficiency for using store systems
Organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to lift and carry merchandise as required
Flexibility to work various schedules
Experience in inventory control or fulfillment is a plus

Job Duties

Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and escorting them to fitting rooms
Motivate and inspire others to support initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes including checking in and ticketing merchandise
Maintain the sales floor through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
Assist customers with transactions providing a seamless and friendly experience
Demonstrate expertise in store technologies
Resolve customer situations effectively and timely
Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver merchandise to selling departments
Fulfill customer orders following quality standards
Prepare and ship customer orders adhering to packing and shipping protocols
Utilize inventory management systems for processing and researching shipments
Maintain cleanliness and organization in selling floors and stockrooms
Support store events, organize backrooms, markdown prices, and relocate fixtures
