Job Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferably in fashion
- strong customer service skills and passion for high-quality shopping experiences
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- strong problem-solving skills
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- enthusiasm for fashion and interest in the Ted Baker brand
- high school diploma or equivalent
- additional education in fashion or retail management is a plus
Job Duties
- Work with integrity and respect within the team
- actively participate and document personal learning to contribute to team success
- be adaptable and flexible to business needs
- develop and maintain strategic partnerships with host store partners
- use Ted's training, tools, and information to stay updated on product knowledge
- apply product knowledge to generate sales and increase customer loyalty
- follow merchandising guidelines, replenishment, and housekeeping standards
- support management in visual merchandising directives
- demonstrate all training requirements and standards
- deliver Greet, Observe, Talk, Fit, Assist, Thank (GOTFAT) consistently
- understand local and customer profiles to build customer relationships
- take ownership of achieving and exceeding location KPIs and brand promotions
- promote database building and clienteling (B-connected)
- maintain awareness of competitors and local markets
- complete tasks efficiently following company policies
- adhere to health and safety procedures
- follow loss prevention measures and report misuse/theft
- handle cash accurately and resolve discrepancies as per host store guidelines
