Job Duties

  • create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • promote a culture of honesty and integrity
  • orchestrate truck delivery prioritizing merchandise processing
  • train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
  • communicate with coordinator on duty for efficient goods flow
  • ensure associates complete tasks according to store plan and prioritize as needed
  • monitor productivity and coach team members
  • organize and rotate back stock
  • maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • uphold organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for backroom
  • ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
  • communicate effectively with management and associates on priorities and progress
  • provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
  • partner with management on associate training needs
  • ensure adherence to labor laws, policies and procedures
  • promote credit and loyalty programs
  • support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs
  • promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
  • perform other duties as assigned
