Job Duties
- create a positive internal and external customer experience
- promote a culture of honesty and integrity
- orchestrate truck delivery prioritizing merchandise processing
- train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles
- ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
- communicate with coordinator on duty for efficient goods flow
- ensure associates complete tasks according to store plan and prioritize as needed
- monitor productivity and coach team members
- organize and rotate back stock
- maintain merchandising philosophy and signage standards
- uphold organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for backroom
- ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
- communicate effectively with management and associates on priorities and progress
- provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
- partner with management on associate training needs
- ensure adherence to labor laws, policies and procedures
- promote credit and loyalty programs
- support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs
- promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
- perform other duties as assigned
