Job Description

Quad is a distinguished global marketing experience company dedicated to helping clients achieve daily success through data-driven, integrated marketing and manufacturing platforms. Headquartered in West Allis, Wisconsin, Quad leverages its expertise and technology to streamline marketing solutions, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize marketing spend for various clients. The company has cultivated a rich legacy grounded in empowering its people to act like owners, take initiative, and strive for excellence in their roles, whether they're operators, sales representatives, graphic artists, or clinicians. Quad fosters a culture that values innovation and continuous improvement, always seeking better ways to serve its clients and grow as an organization.

The Retail Innovation Project Manager (RIPM) position at Quad is vital for managing complex and large-scale in-store projects that require strategic planning, coordination, and execution across multiple stakeholders. This role is focused on in-store structural projects, client-critical and high-profile campaigns, and custom LAMà displays. The RIPM serves as the central liaison between clients and internal teams such as design, administration, and operations, ensuring that active collaboration results in timely delivery, precision, consistency, and top-quality execution of all in-store graphic initiatives. This position is instrumental in driving projects from initial concept through production to installation, with a focus on client satisfaction and operational excellence.

The RIPM leads end-to-end project management tasks, including developing detailed project scopes and client briefs, overseeing design accuracy, participating in client store walks and prototype reviews, and generating comprehensive project specifications for pricing, scheduling, manufacturing, and shipment processes. Additionally, the RIPM orchestrates cross-functional collaboration by directing project overview meetings like design kickoff meetings, project kickoff meetings, and pre-production meetings that bring together key internal stakeholders and clients to align on project milestones and deliverables. Milestone management and timeline oversight are essential parts of the role, as the RIPM proactively communicates schedules and coordinates intricate pre-sale timelines for design, prototyping, specification creation, pricing, and production to ensure seamless progress.

This position requires a thorough understanding of in-store print production practices, structural design, materials, and logistics, coupled with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in marketing, design, project management, or a related field and three to five years of project management experience specifically related to in-store print production or retail visual merchandising. The RIPM must also demonstrate adaptability to manage last-minute changes, anticipate issues, and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track in fast-paced retail environments. Furthermore, expertise in retail formats, large retail chains, and consumer brands is critical for understanding client goals and translating them into actionable, effective in-store strategies that meet brand and quality standards. Quad offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings, paid time off, holidays, and more, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment where diversity and belonging are celebrated.
