Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
- Must possess valid Marijuana Establishment Agent Card and Jurisdictional Work Cards as required
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner
- Basic understanding of compliance software and relevant technology
- Flexible work schedule including covering vacant shifts and emergency situations
- Ability to operate under company policies and procedures
- Must observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
- Tolerance to strong marijuana odors and product exposure
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in Windows based software and point of sale applications
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Understanding of federal, state, and local laws related to the cannabis industry
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, management, government agencies, and the public
- Ability to use standard office equipment and software including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and email
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately
- Ability to apply public relations skills to facilitate change
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and challenging environment
Job Duties
- Help retail customers in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Provide extensive retail product knowledge to assist customers in making educated purchasing decisions
- Complete all assigned work during scheduled shifts
- Maintain accurate use of the point of sale system
- Follow proper cash handling procedures and apply discounts/coupons
- Answer phones and greet customers with a pleasant disposition
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and product sales records
- Assist in cannabis product inventory intake with quality assurance protocols
- Prepare, package, and deliver curbside pickup orders correctly
- Verify customer identity before exchange of currency for curbside pickups
- Ensure correct money is remitted before providing purchases
- Complete curbside pickup transactions upon return to sales facility
- Maintain medical patient confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations
- Apply all security and safety compliance protocols
- Keep store organized, clean, and well-maintained
- Maintain open communication with management and co-workers
- Report employee issues or customer concerns to supervisory staff
- Provide necessary support to management for daily operations and issue resolution
- Ensure customer satisfaction by following established policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
