Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must pass all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
  • Must possess valid Marijuana Establishment Agent Card and Jurisdictional Work Cards as required
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner
  • Basic understanding of compliance software and relevant technology
  • Flexible work schedule including covering vacant shifts and emergency situations
  • Ability to operate under company policies and procedures
  • Must observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols
  • Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
  • Tolerance to strong marijuana odors and product exposure

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Windows based software and point of sale applications
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local laws related to the cannabis industry
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, management, government agencies, and the public
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and software including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and email
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately
  • Ability to apply public relations skills to facilitate change
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and challenging environment

Job Duties

  • Help retail customers in accordance with the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives
  • Provide extensive retail product knowledge to assist customers in making educated purchasing decisions
  • Complete all assigned work during scheduled shifts
  • Maintain accurate use of the point of sale system
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures and apply discounts/coupons
  • Answer phones and greet customers with a pleasant disposition
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and product sales records
  • Assist in cannabis product inventory intake with quality assurance protocols
  • Prepare, package, and deliver curbside pickup orders correctly
  • Verify customer identity before exchange of currency for curbside pickups
  • Ensure correct money is remitted before providing purchases
  • Complete curbside pickup transactions upon return to sales facility
  • Maintain medical patient confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations
  • Apply all security and safety compliance protocols
  • Keep store organized, clean, and well-maintained
  • Maintain open communication with management and co-workers
  • Report employee issues or customer concerns to supervisory staff
  • Provide necessary support to management for daily operations and issue resolution
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following established policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
