Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience
- Certification in at least one powered mobile equipment
- Ability to work part-time between 12 to 20 hours per week
- Availability to work retail hours including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work between 5 AM and 3 PM
- Pass background check and drug test as condition of employment
Job Qualifications
- Five years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment
- Certification in at least one powered mobile equipment such as forklift or electric pallet jack
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service
- Ability to operate inventory management and scanner equipment
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle physical labor
- Basic IT skills for operating warehouse-related systems
Job Duties
- Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving
- Moving product to final selling location in storage or on the floor in all areas
- Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance
- Selecting goods for customers within the agreed time frame to secure an excellent customer experience
- Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Handling goods including unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading
- Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
- Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers
