Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with event planning or coordination preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and early mornings as needed
- Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines and procedures
- Must be able to engage with customers of all ages
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment

- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail or customer service experience
- Excellent people skills
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and perform activities like face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide shopping solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Maintain respectful and positive interactions with team members and customers
- Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
