Job Duties
- Selling our products and helping customers make buying decisions
- Listen carefully and field customer concerns and resolve issues with assistance from co-managers and GM
- Manage the daily operations of the sales floor including opening and closing the store and preparing the sales team for the day ahead
- Supervising and coaching sales on customer interactions and best practice expectations
- Cheerleading and giving encouragement to your team
- Be aware and engage with coaching opportunities before they become larger issues
- Assist in hiring including interviewing and team selection
- Assist in counseling and termination
- Learn to cashier to serve as backup and supervise in absence of cashier supervisor
- Train, coach and manage a sales team of up to 9 associates to optimize sales performance through responsible and profitable selling techniques
- Coach sales on their individual selling statistics to maintain high performance standards
- Complete a bi-weekly sales staff schedule
- Report directly to the GM and uphold operational and promotional procedures for sales floor efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Communicate to buying department product issues trending in regard to stock, demand, inquiries and sales associate concerns
- Carry and answer mobile phone regularly to support staff and store
- Demonstrate willingness to pitch in any way to help the company regardless of position
- Practice discretion regarding proprietary and private information discussed in meetings
