The company focuses on creating value for customers by offering a diverse range of products backed by expert knowledge and exceptional customer service. Sherwin-Williams is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment where employees are supported in achieving their full potential through professional development, career growth, and comprehensive benefits.
This job opportunity is for a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist role at two Sherwin-Williams retail stores located within a 15-mile radius in the Milwaukee area: Store #3025 at 4278 S. 27th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53221, and Store #3713 at 11010 W. National Avenue, West Allis, WI 53227. The position offers a starting pay of $17.85 per hour or is commensurate with relevant experience, reflecting the company’s dedication to rewarding talent and expertise.
The Customer Service Specialist plays a vital role in the success of Sherwin-Williams retail locations by directly engaging with customers to provide top-tier service. This role involves assisting both wholesale and retail customers by identifying their needs, answering inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommending the right solutions to meet specific project requirements. The specialist is expected to build and maintain productive trust relationships with customers while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also includes responsibilities such as accurately processing sales transactions, meeting sales goals, managing inventory, and maintaining the visual standards of the store.
In addition to customer service, the Customer Service Specialist may assist with logistical tasks like stocking shelves, setting up displays, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and occasionally making deliveries. The role requires a hands-on approach and familiarity with product tinting and mixing based on customer specifications, emphasizing the specialist’s importance in delivering a tailored customer experience.
Candidates for this position should be prepared to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the dynamic needs of the retail environment. Given the role involves access to cash handling, electronic payment methods, and customer data, Sherwin-Williams conducts thorough background checks to ensure the safety and security of its employees, customers, and business operations.

Employees are offered competitive wages, rewarding benefits, and opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement. Sherwin-Williams encourages interested individuals to apply online and participate in a three-step hiring process including an online application, a digital video interview, and an in-store interview.
Joining Sherwin-Williams means becoming part of a reputable and forward-thinking company that values diversity and inclusion, providing employees with the support and resources needed to thrive in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
