The Cashier role at Love's is integral to providing a fast, friendly, and accurate customer service experience in a bustling retail environment. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift 25 plus pounds
Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities

Job Duties

General customer service duties including but not limited to helping customers find items answering questions about products and services and addressing customer needs
Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
Responsibility for cleaning direct working area the sales floor restrooms showers gas and diesel pumps and completing trash runs
Additional duties may include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services Fresh Kitchen Facility Maintenance and leadership roles
Ability to move lift 25 plus pounds
Ability to work in various temperatures
