Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift 25 plus pounds
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
Job Duties
- General customer service duties including but not limited to helping customers find items answering questions about products and services and addressing customer needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
- Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- Responsibility for cleaning direct working area the sales floor restrooms showers gas and diesel pumps and completing trash runs
- Additional duties may include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services Fresh Kitchen Facility Maintenance and leadership roles
- Ability to move lift 25 plus pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
