Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Capability to lift 25+ pounds
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work different shifts and departments
- Commitment to maintaining food safety standards
Job Duties
- Perform general customer service including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs
- Balance cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology
- Maintain cleanliness of direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs
- Participate in cross training in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance and leadership roles
- Lift and move items weighing 25+ pounds
- Work efficiently in various temperature conditions
