Store Consultants are expected to consistently deliver a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to understand and anticipate customer needs, suggest tailored alternatives, and provide actionable solutions. This multifaceted role requires a broad knowledge of FedEx Office services including print, signs and graphics, shipping, and the operation of related equipment. Store Consultants take complex orders, coordinate store activities, provide accurate pricing and product information, recommend relevant FedEx products and services, and manage the production queue to ensure timely output. The job requires operating various machines, managing retail inventory and supplies, performing multi-tasking under pressure, and maintaining a clean and orderly store environment. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for the entire shift, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform repetitive bending and twisting. Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential to this role. Store Consultants also handle financial transactions through point of sale (POS) systems, ensure confidentiality of sensitive customer information, and adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and security guidelines. Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent education
- 6+ months of specialized experience

Job Duties
- follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
- assist in the training of store team members
- demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer’s individualized need
- provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
- provide an outstanding customer service experience by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
- ensure all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer
- take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
