The Store Consultant role at FedEx Office is a dynamic position designed to consistently deliver a positive customer experience by leveraging consultative skills to understand and anticipate customer needs. The Store Consultant is responsible for handling customer orders, providing product and pricing information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services. In addition to customer service, this position involves managing equipment operation and maintenance, coordinating production activities, and participating in inventory and retail supply management.

Job Requirements

- 6+ months of specialized experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to stand during entire shift excluding meal and rest periods
- ability to move and lift 55 pounds
- ability to bend and twist at the waist and knees consistently
- ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
- ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
- ability to function in a fast-paced environment under substantial pressure

Job Duties
- follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions
- assist in the training of store team members
- demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer’s individualized need
- provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate FedEx Office products and services
- provide an outstanding customer service experience by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
- ensure all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer
- take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
