Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and management
  • Resourceful and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Frequent use of computers and technology including handheld devices and cash registers
  • Ability to perform store opening and closing procedures
  • Must foster an environment of acceptance and respect
  • At least two years of retail selling or customer service experience
  • Must be able to lift, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb ladders as required
  • Basic color vision abilities

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of selling or customer experience preferred
  • Good understanding of the products being sold and ability to give expert guidance based on customer wants and product features
  • Comfortable communicating with customers virtually, via phone, and in person
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and achieve sales goals
  • Proficient in using point of sale technology and sales applications
  • Self-driven to continuously learn product knowledge and stay current with training resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Capable of collaborating with team members to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences

Job Duties

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by selling merchandise and meeting any need customers have whether in-store or through virtual selling
  • Assist customers and influence sales by recommending products based on size, fit, and style while leveraging product knowledge and digital resources
  • Engage and interact with customers during their shopping journey to acquire and grow client relationships using outreach tools including My Client and social media
  • Develop and maintain relationships with peers and leadership to problem solve and create the best outcome for customers, sharing customer feedback daily
  • Use Point of Sale systems, client acquisition tools, and store technology including computers, tablets, smartphones, work-associated apps, and social media
  • Partner with store teams, vendors, and community to develop, advertise, and host virtual and in-store events to increase sales
  • Maintain selling floor presentation and ensure fitting rooms are customer-ready by clearing merchandise promptly
  • Receive, unpack, and set up new merchandise according to visual guidelines
  • Reconfigure store fixtures to prepare new layouts and presentations for upcoming themes
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures including alarm system access and settling registers
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
