The company is dedicated to fostering a work environment that supports the growth and well-being of its employees through competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career development.
This position is for a Color Mixer Specialist at Store #3296, located at 10690 Baltimore Street NE, Blaine, MN 55449, with additional work at other nearby stores within a 15-mile radius. This is a part-time role offering a starting pay of $16.68 per hour, or higher based on relevant experience. The Color Mixer Specialist plays a critical role in the customer experience by accurately tinting and mixing paint products to meet customer specifications. This role also involves working closely with both wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. It demands maintaining high visual and quality standards within the store and keeping current with product features to provide the best possible service.
As a Color Mixer Specialist, you will handle various duties such as preparing paint orders efficiently, operating tinting and mixing equipment, maintaining detailed work order files, and ensuring product displays and shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing. You will also assist in store upkeep by cleaning equipment and loading or unloading delivery trucks when needed. The role requires interaction with customers both in person and over the phone, requiring excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. The ability to process sales transactions accurately and comply with inventory control procedures is essential.
Sherwin-Williams values safety, responsibility, and community connection. Therefore, this role involves access to cash and sensitive information, necessitating a background review to protect the company’s reputation and ensure safety for employees, customers, and the general public. The company is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, committed to inclusivity, and supports applicant consideration regardless of arrest or conviction history in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are expected to be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally, work scheduled hours that may include evenings and weekends, and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Sherwin-Williams offers a supportive environment that promotes the health, financial security, and career development of its employees, providing benefits and flexible scheduling to enhance overall wellbeing. Joining Sherwin-Williams as a Color Mixer Specialist means becoming part of a thriving company that celebrates diversity and values the possibility in every person’s contribution.
