The Sales and Customer Service team member role at Nordstrom Rack is an essential position that supports the overall retail operation by engaging with customers, keeping the sales floor visually appealing, and assisting in many operational tasks related to merchandise handling and store upkeep. This position requires agility and flexibility, as team members may be called to work in various areas across the store, including sales floor duties, cashiering, fitting room assistance, and stockroom organization. In this role, team members will participate in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for all guests by providing knowledgeable, friendly service and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Team members in this role will actively collaborate with their colleagues to keep the sales floor "runway ready" by re-merchandising, straightening products, and filling shelves throughout their shifts. They will operate point-of-sale systems to assist with transactions both in-store and via online and mobile platforms. The role also involves physical duties such as handling merchandise of various sizes, including bulky and heavy items, and ensuring that stockrooms are organized with merchandise accurately checked in and ticketed. Adherence to operational standards and asset protection policies is critical to maintaining the trust Nordstrom Rack has earned from its clientele. Additionally, employees are encouraged to promote customer loyalty programs such as Nordstrom Rewards to enhance engagement and sales.

The pay range for this hourly position is $20.40 to $21.20, with possible eligibility for performance-based incentives or bonuses.
