Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to move lift 25 plus pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- must be able to work in various temperature conditions
- no prior experience required as training is provided
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to operate cash register technology
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple departments
- teamwork and flexibility
- prior retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required
- understanding of food safety practices is advantageous
Job Duties
- general customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services and addressing customer needs
- balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- responsibility for cleaning direct working area sales floor restrooms showers gas and diesel pumps and completing trash runs
- additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as restaurant services fresh kitchen facility maintenance and leadership roles
- ability to move lift 25 plus pounds
- ability to work in various temperatures
