Job Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- physical ability to lift more than 25 pounds
- capacity to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- must comply with state and local laws related to retail sales and food safety
- willingness to be cross trained in multiple departments
- availability to work in varying temperature environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate a cash register accurately
- knowledge of food safety practices preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items
- answer questions about products and services
- address customer needs
- balance cash register and complete customer transactions
- offer additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products
- maintain cleanliness of working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps
- complete trash runs
- participate in cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- move and lift 25+ pounds
- work in various temperature conditions
