The role on offer is for a Cashier, a vital frontline team member responsible for ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience from the moment they enter the store until they leave. This role is centered around delivering excellent customer service by proactively greeting customers, understanding their needs, and assisting them through the sales process with expertise and efficiency. In addition to processing sales transactions and returns with accuracy and adherence to company policies, the Cashier is also tasked with promoting company programs such as customer loyalty memberships, product warranties, and credit card enrollments.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail or cashier experience helpful
  • Ability to stand for up to 4 hours continuously
  • Ability to occasionally lift weights between 15 and 35 lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to work extended periods standing or walking
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math and cash handling abilities
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor

Job Duties
