Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly
- adhere to company steel standard guidelines
- correct and report unsafe situations to management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- locate merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company's products and services
- guide and support members using self-service technology
- process member purchases
- assist with payments following company policies for various membership and payment types
- operate registers and self-checkout systems
- zone and organize the area
- arrange merchandise neatly
- comply with company policies and ethical standards
- collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to complete work assignments
