Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for long periods of time
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- basic math skills
- ability to operate cash registers and related equipment
- good communication skills

- physical ability to handle merchandise and maintain a clean work area

Job Duties
- Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps
- follow forklift spotting procedures
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to procedures
- follow company steel standard guidelines
- report unsafe situations to facility management
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions
- locate merchandise
- resolve member issues and concerns
- promote company products and services
- provide guidance for member self-service technology
- process member purchases and payments according to company policies
- assist members using registers or self-checkout area
- zone and organize merchandise
- comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- implement related action plans
- use the Open Door Policy for communication
- complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources
- collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
- identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- communicate progress and information
- recommend ways to improve processes
- adapt to change and feedback
