The role of an Assistant Manager at Sudden Service is pivotal in providing outstanding customer service and operational leadership. The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager by helping lead and coach store staff, ensuring that every guest receives top-tier service that aligns with the company’s high standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 or more years of retail or hospitality industry experience
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Passion for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills
- Passion for career development in self and others
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds carrying cases of milk or similar items
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 or more years of retail or hospitality experience
- Passion for guest service and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and develop team members
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Associates degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Experience in a convenience store or food service environment preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with MS Excel preferred
- Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
Job Duties
- Help ensure best in class service is extended and delivered to all Sudden Service guests
- Develop and foster a passion for Sudden Service offerings and culture
- Act as a role model for company culture and core values
- Train, develop, and lead team members to exceed guest expectations
- Provide daily coaching to staff on store culture and values
- Ensure all products are produced, merchandised, and maintained to standards
- Maintain all interior and exterior store image standards
